The Company, Horizon International 2000 Limited Aktiengesellschaft, company number FL 0001.089.894-5 was founded on 7 August 1984 in the Principality of Liechtenstein and changed its name in 2005 to HorizonRe (Holding) Limited (“HorizonRe”).

The one hundred percent owned enterprise, HorizonRe (South Africa) Limited is presently dormant. The Australian affiliated consulting firm HorizonRe (Australia) Pty. Ltd is not owned by “HorizonRe” but provides a gateway to South East Asian and Far East markets for research and future investment activities.

“HorizonRe” develops Risk Management concepts on a consulting basis for commerce and industry based on an “on balance sheet recorded” Sinking Fund Insurance Guarantee (“SFIG”) methodology.

On a global basis the company conducts specialised economic research within the Insurance/Reinsurance and Industry in general. Within these activities the emphasis is directed at applied Risk Management strategies, risk carrying capital investments and on the economic impact insurance losses can generate in a company’s balance sheet

“HorizonRe” also engages in the development of insurance and reinsurance products supporting and securing structured financial requirements pursuant to Basel II guidelines, relating to borrowing strategies for corporate bond issues and other financial instruments.
